Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is a place where kids are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of serving others.
We meet every Wednesday at 6:45 PM during the school year for Children in Action (CA)—a fun, coed missions' group for children in grades 1st–5th. In CAs, kids learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle through Bible studies, hands-on projects, and engaging activities. They "travel" the world, learning about missionaries and praying for their work—all while having a great time. Before CAs, kids can join us for Children’s Choir, where they worship through music and prepare special songs to share during services throughout the year.
On Sundays, we offer Children’s Church during the worship service, giving younger children a time to learn about God in a setting just for them. Each week also includes a Children’s Sermon during the worship service, helping kids connect with the message in a way that’s meaningful to them.
No matter when you come, there’s always something happening for kids to grow in faith, friendship, and fun!
Our Youth Ministry is a vibrant, welcoming community where students in grades 6th-12th can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and have a ton of fun along the way.
During the school year, we meet every Wednesday at 6:45 PM for RESET, an evening filled with worship, Bible teaching, and engaging activities designed to challenge and encourage students in their walk with Christ.
Summers are no exception! We schedule a lineup of events and activities to keep the momentum going. From special outings to fun gatherings, there’s something for everyone—including our Children’s Ministry, which offers its own age-appropriate adventures and spiritual growth opportunities.

Children's Music Camp
July 21st-23rd
Join us for 3 exciting mornings of music, creativity, and friendship at New Bethesda Baptist Church's Children's Music Camp! Designed for students entering 2nd–5th grade, our annual camp has become a fun annual summer event.
Each day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., campers explore the joy of making music through a variety of instruments, including recorders, ukuleles, guitars, keyboards, xylophones, and, of course, their singing voices. Along the way, they'll learn basic music skills, build confidence, make new friends, and have plenty of fun.

The excitement doesn't stop with music! Campers also enjoy a daily craft time, giving them an opportunity to express their creativity in new ways.
Whether your child has musical experience or is trying an instrument for the very first time, Music Camp provides a welcoming and encouraging environment where every child can learn, grow, and have fun. We can't wait to make music with you this summer!

New Bethesda has Sunday School classes for children and youth ages birth to 12th grade. All Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 am every Sunday.

Children's Church is available every Sunday for school-age kids (Pre-K-5th grade). Children are welcome to join us after the special music, or they may remain in the sanctuary with their families if preferred. Those who attend Children's Church will stay there until a parent or guardian checks them out.
