Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is a place where kids are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of serving others.
We meet every Wednesday at 6:45 PM during the school year for Children in Action (CA)—a fun, coed missions' group for children in grades 1st–5th. In CAs, kids learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle through Bible studies, hands-on projects, and engaging activities. They "travel" the world, learning about missionaries and praying for their work—all while having a great time. Before CAs, kids can join us for Children’s Choir, where they worship through music and prepare special songs to share during services throughout the year.
On Sundays, we offer Children’s Church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays during the worship service, giving younger children a time to learn about God in a setting just for them. Each week also includes a Children’s Sermon during the worship service, helping kids connect with the message in a way that’s meaningful to them.
No matter when you come, there’s always something happening for kids to grow in faith, friendship, and fun!
Our Youth Ministry is a vibrant, welcoming community where students in grades 6th-12th can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and have a ton of fun along the way.
During the school year, we meet every Wednesday at 6:45 PM for RESET, an evening filled with worship, Bible teaching, and engaging activities designed to challenge and encourage students in their walk with Christ.
Summer is no exception! We’ve got an exciting lineup of events and activities to keep the momentum going. From special outings to fun gatherings, there’s something for everyone—including our Children’s Ministry, which offers its own age-appropriate adventures and spiritual growth opportunities.

New Bethesda has Sunday School classes for children and youth ages birth to 12th grade. All Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 am every Sunday.

Children's Church is available every 1st and 3rd Sunday. School-age (Pre-K-5th grade) will attend the worship service for a short period and then be dismissed for Children's Church where they will remain until their parent/guardian checks them out.

The Music Camp is open to all children who have completed 2nd through 5th grade. Music Camp is a fun and engaging way for kids to explore music and worship.
